ngl im struggling to remember why im watching this show
#kyle watches warrior#this show is trying to make a cop assaulting a random dude a sign of a phycological break and thus reason to worry abt him#and like thats just the tip of the iceberg#the endless swirl bullshit#the underdevelopment of the chinese characters#half the screen time being used to develop 2 white cops#a main character with 2 facial expressions#2 facinating chinese women characters that barely get screen time or development#like its lowkey wasting all its amazing potential as a period drama set in 1870's san frascisco chinatown#like this was the buildup before the chinese exclusion act#even if ur gonna spend this much time on white ppl#u could at least create some facinaing and horrific stories#like businessmen relied on cheap chinese labor#and the irish were entiring full whiteness via the use of racism#and politicians were privy to both anti and pro immigrations whites
